Terms & Membership

The agreement, plainly. What you agree to when you become a member — written to be read, not skimmed past.

Membership terms

  • Membership is billed monthly at $20/month — one paid membership, full access to the member environment, no tiers, no upsells
  • You can cancel anytime — no contracts, no penalties
  • If membership lapses, your data remains yours and is not deleted; access to member features is described by these membership terms
  • Price changes are announced 30 days in advance
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

Your account & your content

  • You must be 13 or older (or use PLAIT Kids with guardian consent)
  • You own what you create — PLAIT stores and displays it only to operate the service you direct
  • You control what is shared and with whom; private means private
  • You can leave anytime and request an export of your data (Your PLAIT, under Account & privacy)

Prosper & payments

  • Payments are processed by Stripe; PLAIT never stores card numbers
  • The owner receives 90% of every Prosper sale and Pour In; PLAIT keeps 10%, and card processing comes out of PLAIT's 10%. The fee is shown before a member publishes an offer and before anyone pays. Paid items start at $5. Members set their own prices
  • Disputes and refunds between members are reviewed manually by the team, following the posted process

Service expectations

  • We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime
  • We may modify features with reasonable notice; planned maintenance is announced in advance
  • Conduct is governed by the PLAIT Code of Participation; enforcement and appeals follow the Governance process
  • Upon termination, you can request an export of your data
