Prosper

Prosper: what grows from that movement. What the strand begins from, what it gives the Framework, and how it is practiced, in the canon's own sentences.

Prosper concerns growth, outcomes, and capacity.

At the philosophy level

Prosper begins from the belief that intentional practice should be able to ask what it would mean for a context to become clearer, safer, stronger, more complete, more capable, or more able to sustain what matters. People and contexts need time, energy, knowledge, skill, care, safety, opportunity, resources, trust, and—in many contexts—money to continue, choose, create, contribute, recover, and grow. Value matters because of the capacity and outcomes it can support, not merely because it can be exchanged.

Prosper develops and realizes the growth, outcomes, and capacity that make what matters more possible.

At the framework level

Prosper gives PLAIT a way to understand contextual growth: what becoming clearer, safer, stronger, more complete, more capable, or more possible means; what capabilities and resources are required; what outcomes are realized; what costs are carried; and what can be sustained or reinvested.

The framework does not force every situation through all three strands equally. It makes the strands available as lenses so a practitioner can recognize what kind of work is actually present.

At the practice level

Prosper is practiced by asking what it would mean for a context to Prosper, recognizing current capacity and constraint, developing what is needed, mobilizing value and resources, realizing and discerning outcomes, and sustaining, reinvesting, or adapting what strengthens the context.
